Hello. We got 5 17 week pullets last week. They are in quarantine for 30 days. Today, while changing the water, I took advantage of a fresh dropping to do a fecal float. I didn't find much on the slide. Does this just look like debris to anyone? I'm trying the fecalizer tubes today.

I think this is artifact. Some weird polleny thing. Does not look like any intestinal parasite.
Thanks Sue. I was hoping they were clean. Do air bubbles look like black round circles with nothing in them? I saw lots of those. It's been a while since I used the microscope, but never for a fecal float test. I used it for my pond fish, scrapes. But what I was looking for was moving on the fish.... Figured I'd give it a try.

Yes, perfectly round black circles.

Any time, and I mean it. I love being able to help everyone.
Where would I get the correct scope and other tools needed to do this? I want to know my girls are clean way too often and now we just found 7 chicks in a parking lot. Thank you so much
