Hi all, this could be a very stupid question but one of my ladies seems to have poo stuck to her feathers beneath the vent area. It’s been cold here, and as a relatively new chicken owner, not sure if this is something I need to worry about or if I have to clean that for her?

Do not trim too much fluff and feathers, only a little. If you trim too much, urates in feces will scald the skin causing redness, inflammation, and irritation.
Also, a warm wet wash rag will remove the feces, you can use a hair dryer to dry the fluff and feathers.
