Fed Layer Feed Too Soon

Well guys I just a orp that was laying at the farm (assuming she was eating layer) and she laid first two days at home and then stopped. I put out some oyster but she's not touching it. It's pretty obvious to find right outside of the coop near the ground. Should I place it somewhere specific?
You just brought these birds to your house?
They were laying at the place you bought them from, then you brought them home and they laid for 2 days then they stopped?

I keep my grit and oyster shell (OS) in the coop to keep it dry. Some people seem to say it dissolves in the rain. 🤷‍♀️
Yeah I just cleaned and dried mine the other day lol I guess if it rains for a few days and I keep them in there they'll find out what it is. Just not sure how to get them started or if they'll ever eat it. They are flaked very thin but maybe smaller pieces are necessary

Yes assuming they were being fed layer feed and I feed grower with shell supplemental on the side but they are not eating it. I did put it in front of them and they played with it for a bit. I just wanted to make sure they will scope it out no doubt when they really need it.

It's really hard to tell that they're eating it (the OS) bc they don't need much. Only over time you will realize the level is going down, oooooh soooo slooowly! You'll think they're not taking any, but they are. My 50# bag probably lasted me a year or two. But they're eating it, yes they are.

They aren't laying because of the move itself.
