There are poultry processors available in many areas; check at the feed store. Our local processor gets the live birds in the morning, and has cleaned chilled vacuum packed chickens in the afternoon for $4 apiece. Wonderful! Mary

You're lucky you have one in the area. The closest one we had - over an hour's drive away - quit doing poultry last year. And they had a minimum limit (not sure what it was, though, as we always process our own birds.)
