Feed additive

So I currently use layer and scratch for my chickens. Should I be adding anything to that besides oyster shells to get them to lay?

Oyster shell doesn't make them lay. It's simply a source of calcium for thicker, harder egg shells.

I don't supplement their feed with anything other than a little but of treats (fruits, veggies, black soldier fly larva), oyster shells and grit.

How old are your birds?
Are you mixing the layer feed with the scratch.....and the oyster shells?
They should all be given separately, the layer feed always available,
and the OS too but in a separate small feeder.
Scratch only occasionally as a treat.
