We are going to our first show next week.

I was wondering if anyone had suggestions about how to supply food and water to our chickens during our trip. We plan to carry 6 males and 6 pullets in dog carriers, 3 to a cage. Any suggestions?

I use the same typr cage cups that I have in my breeder cages...but the water never makes it!

Its only about a 30 min. drive but we will go on Thurs and leave the chickens in the show barn till Sat. we are rasponsible for the feedings and waterings of the chicks during the show.

Everything should be fine. Use you waterers and feeders. Here's a tip you may or may not want to use. Make sure your birds have water, but try not to feed the birds before the show. They can go 24 hours with no food without a problem. This will keep your birds alert and active. After the judging you can feed them.
