This pest is of no danger to the chickens, but is to my bank account.
I couldn't figure out why I was going though so much feed. The chicken head count hadn't gone up, yet I was feeding about 150 lbs. more per week. I found out this after noon why, my fence is not high eoungh to keep the deer out and they don't touch the electric fence. But they do eat alot. Most other pest or predators would be dispatched with by now. Since I don't need any more venison right now, I will just fatten these up for next year. Just wish they didn't eat so much.

You could always send one my way.

For that price I would be doing something to get rid of them. They are easy to scare and a couple of good frights will have them not coming back. Set up a noise maker that they will trip, like a bunch of tin cans on trip wire where they go over the fence or whatever with what you have handy. They are also easy to detur with the flag type plastic streamers that are often hung up around car lots if you can find a way to put that up higher than your fence.
