feed for chickens?

I have 14 week old chickens and 20 week old chickens. I am going to be integrating the two and I was wondering how to feed them. I know that you can feed to the youngest if you don't care about egg production but what if you do? Should I put layer and grower/finisher feed out there and hope for the best? Any info would be great. Thanks

Okay if I am reading this right - chickens that are 14 weeks old and some that are 20 weeks old, correct?
If they were mine I would feed them all grower until the 14 weekers are ready for layer in about 4 weeks and then feed everybody layer at that time.
Be sure to offer oyster shell now for the 20 weekers.
