Feed ? for diving ducks... how to make own?

ok, in A flurry of activity to try not to kill my new birds! I asked the guy who raised them and he just used a 22% layer with a grain mix added... Around here, Waterfowl feed is not carried. I only saw a bag once and it was 90$ at TSC. (think they were for those with Estates). I can get a variety of grains and chicken and gamebird food... I also garden so could raise some... and we have Plenty of Bugs... I also have to make my own for my domestics... They are hybrid Pochards...i already ordered a book or two...sheesh , I grabbed at a chance to get them , when I only had read some and been thinking of adding...
 
You can feed your ducks an All Flock ration. Purina makes one called flock raiser that TS carries I believe. Provide a separate bowl of oyster shells for the calcium needs.
