What did you do in the garden today?

I didn't get out to the garden today but I am trying to cope with an angry, I know everything, 16 year old granddaughter that is thinking that she's an adult. She's doing some adult stuff which isn't good. She doesn't get to go see her BF tomorrow so that's got her really angry but she needs to learn that we know more than she does.

Oh man, been there, done that, got PTSD and flashbacks just reading your message. Sending much luck and prayers your way.

You are lucky! I core mine and put them in the freezer in gallon ziplock bags ..take out all of them the night before I want to can and let them dethaw. The skins slip right off and the all the water separates from the tomato. Then I can a big roaster full at a time. Some people don't like this method, but it works for me!
I’ve never ever thought of doing this, always did the onesy twosey method. Thank You.

I might have to try this! Freezer space for the bags might be an issue.
What i wouldn’t give for a freeze drier…
If it were just me, I think I'd get one. Hubby doesn't see the payoff, so what I wouldn't give is about $3000.
