I have 3 females and one drake. My two Cayuga females are 1.5 years old and my female Indian runner is rounding out about 10 months old. I’ve been giving them rural king layer pellets (my drake eats this as well, my research told me he’d be great with it) they are doing good, I don’t see anything wrong with any of them. I’ve been getting one egg every other day and I haven’t figured out who I’m getting it from. BUT I chalked it up to an unseasonably warm winter thinking the ducks bodies are responding.
I’ve talked to multiple people and they say they get a ton of eggs, even in winter and they give them layer pellets, cracked corn, etc etc. my ducks will NOT eat egg shells (they quack at me like they’re terrified)
What do I need to give them health wise and egg production wise? Research tells me two different things and they’re always the opposite!
