Feed prices

Anyone else seeing a pretty big increase on feed prices? Went to tractor supply today to pick up more duck pellets, which I was previously buying for $15.99. it's now $20+ tax.

Just curious what everyone else is paying.

I used to pay ~$20 for a 40-lb bag of all-flock feed at tractor supply, now i've gotta pay 25 (not including tax!!). needless to say i am not buying that feed anymore. i'm buying the dumor layer feed right now but the price is rising on that one too so...

That is interesting. In my most recent comparison feed ingredient costs have risen between 35 and 45% depending on the mix of commodities and ingredients since last January.

I can't explain it. Mill about an hour away? TS let's it be a loss leader...gets me in the store?

I was paying about 240 a month so i switched to a different feed place and now its about 185. Not quite what i want, but im still learning what all they have since its not labled as clearly.
