You know, you have to be very careful if you go into a feed store. A little known fact is that they have subliminal messages being broadcast that you cannot hear but your brain picks them up.

My husband will be going to the feed store next time. Though he is almost as under the spell as I am.

silkydragon: I am glad your chicks made it, but it sure broke my heart when I killed the 12" koi someone gave me because they were tired of cleaning the tank and I didn't know what I was doing.

When I called the only feedstore around here that special orders chicks a sweet old man answered

ME - I am calling because I would like to order chicks

HIM - we already have your cks, they are here waiting for you, you better come pick them up. Came in yesterday. Where ya been?

ME - what do you have?

HIM - ISA, RIR, brahmas.....

ME - but I don't want those breeds

HIM - sure ya do, you just haven't seen them yet.

Two days later, when I was there ordering my babies, He was right I DID want them... all of them...

THEY KNOW WE ARE WEAK.

My Tractor Supply Co. and my local feed store do not yet have the chicks, but will in March. My son has already asked for Easter Eggers, so I will get 4-5 if I can. I hope I bring my willpower with me that day!!
