⠀ Feed supliments and grit

I am feeding milled wheat with a protein, vitamin, mineral, and calcium supplement. Is there a need to make grit available during winter when cooped up?

If that is the only feed you are offering it seems likely that it will be quite unbalanced, unless you have carefully calculated the addition of protein and nutrient mix.
Any whole or cracked grains require granite grit to aid in their digestion.
