So, I feed my chickens some great non-GMO organic food that makes for some great eggs and healthy birds. I just got three new hens and they have been with me for 5 days eating the good stuff. Their eggs still have very pale yolks and don't look nearly as healthy as my others. How long should it take for the food they eat to change the eggs they produce... any idea how quickly there eggs will be rich, non-GMO eggs? Thanks!

I'd guess it would take a few weeks to get through their system. Thats a guess, taking into consideration the amount of time recommended to hold off eating eggs when certain medications are applied. It's relative to chicken metabolism, so it's not a wild guess, but a somewhat educated one. I hope that helps!
