I have been reading what everybody does with their chickens and am feeling a little inadequate. The following is what I do for my chickens. What else, if anything, should I be doing?

-Make sure food and water is always full
-Supply treats/table scraps
-Talk to them
-Collect eggs
-Clean coop once per month ( I haven't done this yet, as I have only had them for 1 week, but plan to clean once per month)
-Let them out each day to "play"

Of course I watch them take their mud baths, chase each other, lay out in the sun, etc. but really the above is what I do. I have been reading about treating them with pesticides, dusting them, cleaning run (I thought I only had to clean coop), etc. What is good for my hens?

Sounds like you're doing great. Check out this post from speckeledhen, it will tell you all you need to do to keep them safe, healthy and happy.
