Feed

Hi I have 2 week old pekin ducks and I'm about to change the protein levels of there feed. I was wondering if I still get chick starter or grower feed?

First 4 weeks use duck starter, next 4 weeks use a grower, after that use a finisher/maintenance. When and if you have hens that start to lay use a layer feed for ducks. Switch back to the finisher feed when they stop laying. I use game bird and turkey feeds from agway.

I used starter feed for about the first 10 weeks until they were able to eat the layers pellets, and then just gradually added a bit of the layers pellets mixed in with the starter until it was just layers pellets but that process only took about a week or two

Me too.

I started adding grower pellets to starter crumble after two weeks and slowly changed to more and more grower will it was all grower, after 3 weeks.
