Not me yet but soon. Have to get my coop separated and set up some auctions. I have my barred rocks separated but in that run is 2 dark Cornish that I'm hatching for meat

That might work.
They listed several this morning but it soon got lost in all the chit chat.

yah, I've got multitudes of thread updates about crap I could care less about......
I have over 300 emails of nothing but 24hr chat it stinks. They should be posting in another thread all their chat, and keep call draye rude when she brings it up.
Quote: Yes too much chat and I got them... got lucky too. I was at work and only had a few minutes to bid. Maybe some more peeps should complain to OP to have the chat moved here where it belongs so all you see is auctions

You should set your updates to once/day rather than each occurrence.

Why you bid you want it to update every occurrence. That thread is out of control. It is in the FOR SALE section not the chat section. Those of us that want to buy or sell are having issues with all the chattering. It needs to be put back to it's original purpose and that is to auction your eggs it seems like those who used to use it as a 24 auction are not coming back due to the chatting. Anyways why should I change my settings due to rude folks that are ruining what used to be a good thing.

My point is that if you know that you have placed an auction then you know when it ends and can scan for the winning buyer. You do not need to sit on the edge of your seat as the bids occur (however fun that may be). If you are buying something then a quick scan can identify the item and the time frame such that you go to the site to ensure that you have placed the highest bid. Once again you do not need to fill your mail box with unnecessary clutter.

While I understand your frustration of folks not using the auction thread for what it was intended, there is no realistic way for you or me to control "internet behaviour." The only folks who can make a difference here are the site owners in administering the policies established for a given site or thread.

Peace.
