I know that being in town is no assurance that there won't be coons, possums, foxes, weasels, coyote, and snakes though I've seen no evidence of such yet. I'd expect the ripening corn in the garden to provide a test case about possible coons over the next couple weeks. LOL
I know for sure that dogs will be a problem day and night. Today I chased a boxer out of my yard. He's not loose often but I have seen him before. And we're planning very good hardware cloth skirting on account of the beagles.
I'll start reading the predator thread as you suggested.
Should I flip the position of the door and nestboxes so as to relocate the pophole to the east and the roosts on the west wall away from the east window?
