Feeder for Water?

The hanging feeders I've seen online so far are cheaper than the waterers, when our chicks move to the coop can I just get 2 feeders and use one for water or wouldn't that work?

No, it wouldn't work as the feeder won't hold water. If you put a gallon of water in, it will all drain out except what can be held in the actual feeder part.
