My 5 chicks which are 10-12 weeks old are making a mess of their feed. I have a 4" pvc pipe going into a 4" Y and they are kicking and pecking the feed onto the ground. So I put a 3" reducer on the "Y" then it seemed liked they stopped eating so I took the reducer back off and back to the mess. Should I go to a 2 1/2" or 3" PVC "Y".
