Feeder they can’t dump out

I’m VERY new to chickens, my 4 chicks are in a bath tub brooder. I got the little plastic mini feeder from TS, but now they are dumping it all on floor instead of eating like proper ladies- lol.. help! What should I do to keep it contained and not waste food that they are pooping in? They are 3 weeks almost 4. They should be getting to big coop in a few weeks...

Chicks are just messy. Once mine were outside I was able to hang the feeder and waterer.

I found that if I place the small TSC feeders into a planter saucer/dish that is just slightly larger...it does a great job of containing the feed spills.

a small PVC tube with a 180' bend or a wye fitting will work good as well

I put my waterer on a 2"x 6" and add a second for the feeder a few days later and keep the waterer a block higher and add more blocks as time passes and finally hang both with wire, tape and a metal rod.

We boost the food and water on brick pavers to hold them up out of the litter. We add pavers as needed.

I keep my feeders and waterers on top of blocks of wood and pick out any poop and bedding when I refill them.

The bowl that the feeder just barely fits into does a pretty good job. If the bowl is much bigger then feed can still get billed out. Also there is a solo cup mod that works great too. I actually use both methods and there is only a few crumbs on the floor but make sure the chicks can still reach the food in the feeder when done.
