I love my guineas,,,as ugly and noisy as they are but now thay have developed an annoying beahvior.

I have those bucket feeders with the PVC elbow that I hang onto the pen side and are supposed to be non-spill...and those blasted birds still get in there and whip feed out onto the ground with their beaks. I tried raising and lowering them on the fence and they still do it.

Any ideas ????

I haven’t used those feeders, but our chickens and guineas both make a terrible mess with regular feeders, so I use PeckoMatic feeders for both. They are crazy expensive but have paid for themselves several times over by reducing feed wastage.

We have a pvc feeder with holes, our guineas haven't wasted much since we went to this.

I’ve seen a few DIY ideas and even bought the eyebolt and washers to try one... In the end, I just didn’t make the time to make my own and finally bought some of the kits from Frank’s, which, BTW, I found to be a very odd auction site. At any rate, they are ridiculous $$$ but I’m still glad that I have them!
