Feeding 4 Pullets

I will be getting 4 pullets for my first time experience in raising chickens. What food will I need to have for them,. mash or pellets? How do you disburse scratch, oyster shells and grit?

The form of the feed is up to you and how much you wish to allow them to walk over you. If you are getting pullets at the Point Of Lay (POL) then you can put them on layer feed from the start. The form of the layer is up to you be it, mash, crumble or pellet. I use separate dishes for the oyster shell and grit. The scratch I just throw on the ground, for them to scratch around for.
