My roo was injured in a fight. Now he twists his neck to the side. I've seen him eat and drink a bit. But he needs to eat more cause his crop is empty.
How do I hand feed him? Or another method?

Hey I have only been on this site a while, but some of what I have learned that might help is...

Maybe mix a little warm water in with his food to make a puddiny mash. and add a drop or two of sugar or molasses for energy, and I add Bach Flower Remedy "Rescue Remedy" a couple of drops to helps significantly reduce the stress. Let him stay by himself in a warm quiet area for a bit and see if he doesn't come around.

Thanks. I just mixed a hard boiled egg, bit of oil, yogurt, and some feed, and he ate it all up! I'm soooo glad. Thanks, Earthfriendly!

Earth, it must have given him some energy cause he jumped up on the roost and crowed! He still walks circles backwards. But at least he's hungry.
