feeding apples to white rocks

Hi everyone,just wondering if it's OK to feed my white rocks apples.They are on the home stretch with only one week to go.Also do you think the apples will change the meat flavor or texture.I know a pig farmer who swears the meat is sweeter after feeding his pigs apples for a couple of weeks.

Should be fine. Make sure you remove the seeds, though.

Let me know if you get them to eat the apples! Mine have only eaten their feed, refusing anything else, but I never tried apples, and we have a ton of them every fall. I doubt you'll notice a difference in flavor- the meat is sweet anyway.

Hey jaku, I have a small hobby farm with plenty of gardens and produce so i have no shortage of fresh veggies.They eat everything i give them and really like the summer squash and apples.One thing i do is half or quarter the apples.
