Feeding Baby Ducks

Now I'm confused. I always heard that you need to feed ducklings unmedicated chick starter but the people at TSC told me I should feed them gamebird feed (22%). Which is correct?

I used unmedicated chick starter (24%) but some people say the gamebird feed (22%) is the way to go.

I have 2 ducklings from TSC as well. I am feeding mine the chick starter, it has a picture of a duck & a chick on the front of the bag. They are growing like crazy!!!!

Chick starter will be fine as long as you're supplementing them with extra niacin.

I'm not sure on the game bird starter, but I know from reading posts on here that Purina Flock Raiser is apparently the best way to go as it already has enough niacin for ducks.

I got two out of three new pekins at tsc last saturday, and I feed them gamebird. They seem rather happy with it.

They seem to like the gamebird feed just fine. I just didn't want to feed them something that would hurt them and sounds like others have used this feed also. Thank you all for your insight and assistance.
