FEEDING CHICKENS DUCK CHOW

I was wondering can I feed my chickens duck chow? I keep looking and everywhere I look it says ducks need niacin. (well thanks for the tip Sherlock, I didn't ask that) That isn't my concern since I'm feeding them duck chow. I raised ducks for years and hatched plenty. Now I'm working on chickens. What's the downside? and, my concerns doing that?

Do you have ducks and chickens? I would suggest an all flock feed like purina flock raiser. It has niacin for ducks and you can feed it to chickens. You would Just need to offer oyster shell on the side for any layers.

I feed everyone an All Flock ration too, chickens, ducks and turkeys.

You feed all chickens, ducks, turkeys etc. What when they start laying? still the raiser?

All my birds get the all flock year round. If I have chicks they get a non medicated starter grower. I put out separate bowls of oyster shells for the calcium needs. No need for a layer ever.

Yes, they still get the all flock. Just add oyster shell on the side for layers. I haven't raised chicks yet, so listen to @oldhenlikesdogs she's pretty knowledgeable I got older chickens when I first got mine.
