Feeding chickens empty crab shells?

We just ate some crabs and theres a lot of shells. I was wondering if I could feed them since we can feed chickens egg shells and oyster shell. Thanks!

yeah i would grind them up a bit and toss em in

Mine get crab shells.. shrimp shells.. crawdad parts.. they eat what they want off them and I compost the rest

So glad u have this post just got done eating crab it was so good now I'm giving the rest to my chickens they will love it!!

i've seen pictures where it will turn the yolks a really dark orange or almost red color. Don't remember if it effected taste.
