Feeding chickens scraps

Will the flavor of the eggs change depending on what kind of scraps they get? I was reading through the treads and wondered if feeding them fish would it carry through to the taste of the egg.

Fish should be Ok, just don't feed them onions, garlic or citrus.

Ever since my girls started eating onions there eggs tasted great.onions are good for chickens

Thanks I am hoping to get chickens in the near future and am doing my research now. Garlic/onion/fishy tasting eggs just did not sound appealing LOL
