Relatively cold days and nights in GA. 8 hens don't appear to be eating what I would expect (My first winter)

I am leaving a feeder full of layer pellets... available 24-7.

They free range all day; come in coop at night to roost.

I generally feeD the 8 hens and 4 Guinness a solo cup of scratch a day.

My guess they are eating no more than 1/2 cup of layer pellets a day.

I am getting 4 eggs a day from the 8 hens...

I assume they are getting more food free ranging than I would expect to be available this time of year,

Any concerns?

No they are eating all they want. Range is probably richer than what you would expect, and as long as you have a free choice feeder they should be okay.
