Haha!!! I bet she will love that! And I can't wait to see mine go crazy for some bugsYes, yes and yes I have been giving mine boiled eggs mashed up in Ramon with mixed veggies and she really enjoys this treat. A friend came over from mainland and sweeped up floor in their Condo and had about 30 roaches and I gave to Hennyko and she enjoy this treat. After rains I will let out to go on a slug hunt!
Would it be harmful to feed them store bought eggs? Or is it just prevention for any chemicals and diseases in the egg? I would like to give them a healthy treat, such as eggs, but I don't have any other chickensHmmmmm.
If fed anything other than chick starter.... YES, grit is needed .....just because it's an egg does not exclude eggs as other food. Also you were right, it should be eggs from its flock that they eat....chicks do best being fed only chick starter till they are older or scratch around outside to forage for normal things.
Best of luck with your Chickens.
okay thank you!Store bought eggs are fine.
yeah I gave them store bought eggs myself as I have no laying chickens (thus why I got the chickens) we did get them naturally raised eggs though. Not necessarily organic since those are expensive but the same ones we normally eat which isn't battery cage farmed.O
okay thank you!
