Feeding chicks cranberries

I just got some cranberries. Do you give them seed & all ?

My inlaws have blueberries and cranberries and the flock just mosey over and help themselves. Blue in the summer, red in the fall. After harvesting the chickens gobble up the spilled cranberries left on the dams with no ill affects.
