I have some 8 week old chicks and I am out of chick starter so
I was going to transition to all flock but all I have are large pellets do you think they could eat it OK and wound it fit down their throat?

If they have trouble eating the pellets, you could moisten them with water, right before serving. Might have to play around with the water content, to get it how they like. If you wanted to go to the effort, you could pulse the pellets in a food processor or blender to break them down a little.

Pulse in a blender, one cup at a time, till desired size. If you fill with more it won't crush evenly.
I do that with Chick feed for a week or two.

I've never fed pellets before 16 weeks old.
I feed Crumbles to my Hens and Pullets currently. GC

Crumbles.. or old fashion mash, which you may not find.. Pellets are compacted crumbles, soak em' in water.. You got mash.. Rabbits eat pellets, but they have teeth and chew their food..
