Feeding dried herbs to Jumbo Cots

Cleaning out the spice drawer of numerous herbs/spices that I thought I would use. Feed them a little at a time to the cots? Feed to meal worms? Feed to the BSFL in the quail poop/compost pile? Waste not, want not.... Any suggestions?

Not sure about giving to the quail, but the mealworms and BSFL can definitely have them.
