I am sure this has been asked a thousand times over but I can’t seem to find a concrete answer...

When raising dual purpose chicks for meat, at what age should you switch from chick starter to meat bird feed?
Thanks.

Meat bird feed is usually about 20-22% protein. That is usually fed at the beginning and slowing protein as they mature.
Your best advice would be attained from reading the feeding instructions on the bags of feed. The companies know how the feed is formulated and what birds it is intended to feed.

In reality, you can just feed them regular chick starter. DP birds aren't genetically selected like CornishX or other meat hybrids with rapid growth as a goal.
