Feeding ducks and chickens

It's a good idea if you can find it to buy an All Flock feed for both. Like Purina Flock Raiser. It is formulated for all poultry.

I feed my ducks, turkeys, chickens, guineas the meat bird feed - usually fermented.

I let the animals have veggie gardens and they scarf up the fresh stuff.

During the winter, I sometimes through grocery store greens out to them. Ducks scarf it up and some of my boy chickens do too.

We give both the ducks and chickens non medicated chicken feed. They love it, we use crumbles and pellets off and on.
We give the ducks lettuce, they love it, and both of them scarf down corn tortillas!
Along with most veggie leftovers and fruits, hot oatmeal and cornmeal they love too!!

Please keep in mind that ducks need more protein daily than the chickens do. (That's why I use meat bird feed and then ferment it.)

I also add some scrambled eggs, when egg productions good. :) Protein! Variety!
