feeding ducks ????? please help!!!!

I start them out on chick crumbles (unmedicated) with lots of greens so they get the appropriate niacin. After that flockraiser or gamebird feed is good.

If you plan to eat the eggs I don't recommend feeding them anything fishy or algae-like.... *bleh*... not good for the flavor. Peas are great as a treat, mine love any kind of greens and most especially WORMS!

I also have chicks so I've been feeding them chick starter non medicated, grass and they have been eating bugs and worms when I take them out in the yard.

No to the sardines. Ducks aren't supposed to have salt.

I was also wondering if no sardines then when they get bigger should I get small fish and put in there pool???

silly me, i am going to try the pea thing with my little babies now then, sorry for the mis understanding. I thought it was a bit odd and my gorge on the pellet food.lol
