Feeding flock

How much laying pellets is a fair amount to sustain a good laying ratio. I have about 30 laying hens but they seem to be slowing down so thinking maybe i'm not giving enough laying pellets....they have a pen that is 40X40 they run around in all day long.

We make sure they have feed in front of them at all times.

They prefer to eat bugs and grass, so keeping the feed there keeps things in balance and ensures they get what they need.

I agree you should always have feed infront of them.
