Feeding Free Range

I've noticed that if I fling it around in the woods they seem to eat less of their feed and more of whats around the feed. I add the oyster shell when I don't see any more on the ground and add a mix of brewers yeast and garlic once or twice a week, its a powder so I add a tablespoon to my bucket of feed and mix it up. I noticed it 'sticks' to the chicken feed almost as well as it 'sticks' to my dogs food. Since my chickens drink out of the pond and the creek I add oregano oil to their water that's by the coop and where I feed them.

4 wks later they are eating less feed and foraging a lot more!!
