Feeding freedom rangers

how much feed should I feed my 10 freedom rangers per day? I can't find a sure answer online anywhere

I would feed them as much as they want to eat. They will not eat themselves into a stupor the way CXR will. But, if you want to cut your feed bill and have good forage available to them, you could limit their feed during the day to force them to dig up their own grub, then feed them well towards the end of the day. It all depends on what your goals are. Do you want them to reach market size quickly, or are you willing to wait a bit and push them on the free range???

I have food out for mine all the time, and they free range during the day. My spring batch of 31 ate just under 3 pounds of feed per pound of carcass weight. Mary

I have mine in a chicken tractor, should I have food out all the time

Yes! There's probably no way they get enough stuff to eat under a chicken tractor small enough to move around. Mary
