Feeding fruit?

can you feed a necturine to a four week old chick

Well, I don't know that I'd feed an entire nectarine to a single chick (that'd be an awful lot of fruit for a little bird that needs a more balanced diet!). But I wouldn't hesitate to cut a nectarine up and let my 20 4-week olds go to town on it.

At this age, I'd probably keep treats still pretty minimal, and make sure that if you're feeding them more than chick starter, that you give grit as well.

There are actually 11 in the box. Its a big box! It is the only one I have and I find myself trying to find entertain them. I also have a two 5 day olds in another but they will not get the necturine.
