Feeding game bird feed to mature chickens

I recently inherited a bunch of purina game bird maintenance chow 12.5%. I don't know what to do with it and don't want it to go to waste or get moldy. Was planning on feeding it to my adult waterfowl but there's so much of it. Can I feed it to my mature chickens as well? I have rhode island reds, jersey giants, white rocks, etc...

yes you can feed it to chickens but its a little low in protein especially for game bird chow

Two parts 12.5% product with one part 20-24% type feed and you'd be golden. I'd feed it only as long as it was still fresh and mold free. Once it starts to go bad, dump it in the compost pile to re-cycle.

It is basically the protein level of scratch, ground into a feed.
