Feeding geese left over cooked veggies??

I have some left over carrots, potatoes, celery, etc. from a roast I cooked a couple of days ago. Can I feed the left over veggies to my Embden and Toulouse geese or do they only eat raw veggies? Are the veggies unhealthy because they were cooked in with the roast (meat) and the spices...salt and pepper mostly? When you feed your geese oatmeal do you cook it first or leave it uncooked?

I feed my birds leftovers. I don't worry about spices or salt unless it's excessive. My birds prefer cooked vegetables to raw. I have fed oatmeal raw and cooked. I don't have geese, I have chickens, ducks, and turkeys.
