I'm not an expert , but I've raised nearly every thing in my 65 years . At least critter don't take your car keys . Feeding my geese , I get specials on sale at the local markets , dry corm on the cob they like pecking it . Stale bread is a favorite but they have to have water in a pan or available to eat it .since it sticks in their mouth . Bread crumbs is also good , and I give mine a poultry block I get from the feed store thats good for all poultry , and bagged for for geese at the same store . Just make sure it says for ducks and geese . Laying mash for chickens can kill some geese . Nothing medicated .
They all seem to love bread and will follow you any where . Call them when you feed it to them and they will get so they come to you when you call them
Just watch for the wings some will be in a big hurry and fly to you .

I have a problem with feeding geese or any poultry stale bread or bread crumbs and dried corn on the cob as a diet. Neither has much as far as nutrients in them. A good All Flock feed would be my recommendation then corn as a treat along with grazing on soft grasses. I feed my flock greens when I find them on sale at grocery too.
