Hi,
I just signed up with the site and hope I can get some answers.. I recently purchased three Gold ringnecked pheasants from Holland. Unfortunately I did not receive any paperwork on them so I can know their age, upbringing etc. I think they are about two - three years old.
My problem is that they are very picky when it comes to eating. I have been feeding them grains, cracked corn, fresh spinach, lettuce, sweet corn, apples and pears. I notice that they pick two or three pieces of fruit or corn out of their bowl, walk away and return after half an hour to pick out two more pieces and so forth.
Is this normal behaviour? Is there anything else you can advice me to feed them. I'm in a warm climate, they are in a cage with high beams so they can sleep and plenty of space to walk around.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
