Hi,
I would like some feedback-lol-
wondering what other people do when feeding yummy kitchen scraps to the flock: does anyone blend them up first to make them more pureed/slightly chunky? or can they be fed directly depending on what it is?I'd imagine it would vary and depend...we usually slightly blend most everything together before feeding.

Meats, grind up finely
Veggies, if cooked, they can eat it if mushy. If al dente, needed to be cooked more.
Fruits, no problem.
Pasta and rice, make sure they are well cooked.

I just take leftovers and throw them in the run

If some pieces are to big they run around chasing eachother trying to get a piece of it. It's fun to watch

Gosh! I had no idea how much chickens really eat! I took a pot of scraps out to them and it was eaten in about an hour..

I usually break the scraps up into smaller pieces, but that is mostly so I can spread it out in the run. This gives everyone a chance to get at something and it makes them move around a little bit and search for an extra bite.

I break mine up and sprinkle around their outdoor run, they talk up a storm telling me how greatful they are for the treat! I love it!
