My silkies are hatched and raised by their mama hen. Do I feed medicated chick starter to them..will it be OK for mama?

Personally I just feed them unmedicated starter.
Its worked fine for the last 3 hatches.

I feed unmedicated also. My chicks and mother hen eat it up!
