feeding meat birds

I am getting 25 meat chicks next week and was wondering if i need to feed them chick starter feed or just go straight to meat feed?

As I remember back when I did Cornish X, there was a specific starter for that type bird. You should as your chick supplier what they feed the birds when they arrive

Give them starter to... um, start, then after a few weeks switch over to... um, grower.

I use Purina Flock Raiser start to finish with great results.

I've been using Nutrena Nature Wise Meatbird from start to finish and I've also had good luck.

(this is really me knocking frantically on wood after saying that!!)

are they day-olds? Probably chick starter to be safe. For at least the first few weeks...

I am using a 24% starter from start to finish. Guess we will see.....1 week down!
