Just a question- I have 3 Nigerian does, 2 whether and 2 babies. Everyone has free choice good grass hay. The does also have free choice good quality 2nd cutting alfalfa hay. I like to give about 1 cup or less of grain in the morning and night to each goat as well. (The babies are being weaned as we speak not happy about it, but momma's are done with the little devils!). They all have free choice minerals and up all on shots but have limited foraging right now. Usually I just use a goat chow, but today I was reading the ingredients on Crossroads All-Stock CRS Sweet 12 and wondering if anyone else has every used it for the pet goats as a supplement? Thanks for any advice for a newbie!

Hi, welcome to BYC! :frow

Your whethers will also need to have a free choice baking soda. This helps to stop urinary calculi build up that causes a pain and difficulty, which can become an issue especially for whethers who get grain. My boys got zero grain with only hay and free choice pasture available to them.

I have zero doe experience.

Sorry, no info on that feed. :)
